The water source of Quezon, Palawan is being developed through local water systems that draw from nearby natural springs and falls, especially Ybayen Falls and Mantayog Falls, to supply several barangays in the municipality. These projects were created to improve access to clean water for communities that have long struggled with water shortages.

PES stands for Payment for Ecosystem Services. It is a fee collected to help fund the protection, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the watershed and water source areas that supply the water system.
How it's computed
PES is charged at a flat rate of ₱1.00 per cubic meter (m³) consumed, regardless of classification or tier. It is calculated separately from the Water Bill and simply equals your total consumption in cubic meters.
Ang PES ay nangangahulugang Payment for Ecosystem Services (Bayad para sa mga Serbisyo ng Ekosistema). Ito ay isang bayarin na kinokolekta upang matulungan pondohan ang proteksyon, rehabilitasyon, at pagpapanatili ng watershed at mga lugar na pinagmumulan ng tubig na nagsusuplay sa water system.
Paano ito kinakalkula
Ang PES ay sinisingil sa flat rate na ₱1.00 kada cubic meter (m³) na nagamit, anuman ang klasipikasyon o tier. Ito ay kinakalkula nang hiwalay sa Water Bill at katumbas lamang ng iyong kabuuang konsumo sa cubic meters.
